How Much Does It Cost?

All beef is sold from the farmer to the customer by the LIVE weight. The average price per pound changes weekly. Most beef is purchased around $1.15-1.35 per pound, LIVE weight. Beef is hauled live from the farmer to the slaughter house.

½ Beef:

· Average $700 for cost of beef

· Average $275 for processing

¼ Beef: 

· Average $350 for cost of beef

· Average $155 for processing
